EPTA TRANSFORMS THE BATIK MODELS INTO A CONCENTRATE OF FRESHNESS AGAINST FRESH PRODUCE WASTE IN MASS RETAILING
Epta transforms the Batik models into a concentrate of freshness. The semiverticals designed for fresh produce, belonging respectively to the OutFit ranges of Costan, are available in the Closed Version, to preserve these products and promote sales.
Optimising the management of perishable products is becoming increasingly an imperative for Retailers who, as a sector, at European level, record a 5% value of all perishable food waste. The world of Fresh produce for mass retailers is a significant generator of value, not only as regards turnover but for the image and positioning of the Chain.
The fresh produce department is the most important criteria for more than 64% of Italians when choosing a store; consequently, for Epta, guaranteeing perfect preservation of the fresh produce means contributing to a more virtuous and sustainable consumption model.
The new closed models Batik Closed of Costan are an ideal fit because designed to satisfy the need to enhance this category of high margin products, with a view to Sustainable Innovation.
Batik Closed says no to waste.
The Batik Closed models of Costan say no to waste thanks to the straight double-glazing sliders to focus on greater thermal insulation and energy efficiency. This upgrade has allowed to achieve energy class B compared to the open models in class D.
Aesthetically, the transparent profiles guarantee greater visibility of the products and, compared to the open version equipped with front glass, full accessibility to the display deck makes the refrigerated furniture an excellent merchandising ally.
Further advantages are the infinite customisation options and an extremely flexible layout, which allows to create compositions including islands with an excellent relationship between display surface and occupied floor space, for an increasingly strategic design of sales space.
The renewal of the product ranges also includes the Velvet SV cabinet of Costan, now also available in the Closed version, to achieve the goal of zero food waste.
