Maximum efficiency and reduction in consumption, with the Transcritical CO2 Eco2Large Refrigeration Pack

Commercial refrigeration generates more than 40% of the energy consumption of a medium- size supermarket. For this reason, Epta, which has always promoted a sustainable revolution, has enriched its range with the new version of the Transcritical CO2 Eco2Large refrigeration pack, helping Retailers respond to the stringent international regulations and contribute to achieving the goals of the European Green Deal.

Eco2Large, designed for medium-large size stores, boasts a refrigerating power that can be adjusted from 80kW to 200kW for the medium temperature and from 20kW to 60kW for the low temperature. Further advantages of this pack include its elevated level of personalisation, to adapt to any application need and the ability to cool. Moreover, there is the possibility to include numerous standard options including heat recovery and backup unit, as well as integrating the patented FTE 2.0 and ETE systems.

The system, which comprises the Transcritical CO2 Eco2Large pack of medium and low power with FTE (Full Transcritical Efficiency) 2.0 on board, pre-installed and tested, combined with ETE (Extreme Temperature Efficiency) is a guarantee of maximum efficiency and reduction in consumption, at any latitude. These technologies have been identified by the European Union as a key element to protect the environment and the climate and has been a major focus of the Life-C4R programme, co-funded by the EU.

Finally, Eco2Large is designed for installations in machine rooms and outdoors. The major benefits of the Eco2Large are the guards that protect from atmospheric agents but also reduce noise exposure, which is ideal in town centres.
