WITH EPTA, MASOUTIS CREATES THE FIRST FTE INSTALLATION IN GREECE

The first installation in Greece of a FTE Full Transcritical Efficiency, chosen by the long-standing Greek chain Diamantis Masoutis S.A. for its new store of Athens. With over 330 shops, the brand is the largest supermarket and wholesaler network in northern Greece and one of the top four at national level. The adoption of green technologies is one of the strategic keys of Diamantis Masoutis S.A. which has identified Epta as an excellent partner to accomplish this project.

The key motivation for the collaboration include the improved performance of FTE which exceeds the traditional limits of transcritical technology, proving ideal in any condition, also in the prevailing Mediterranean one like that of Greece. Part of the Life C4R project – Carbon 4 Retail Refrigeration, an initiative funded by the European Union under grant agreement LIFE 17 CCM/IT/000120, FTE also amazes for the reduced environmental impact and for its simplicity, which respectively translate into 10% energy saving compared to a standard booster pack and up to 20% lower installation and maintenance costs.

With the goal of enhancing local products and promoting local suppliers whilst reducing energy, Epta has proposed to furnish the fresh and frozen product aisles with Costan branded solutions. By virtue of the minimal design and full-height glass, the vertical chilled GranVista and the frozen GranBering of the GranFit Family contribute to better visibility, for a perfect presentation of Greek specialities. The installation is completed with the new serve-over cabinets from the Velvet Design aesthetic which, in line with the mission of Diamantis Masoutis S.A., accompany consumers in their choice of regional cheese, meat and cured meat, helping to make the purchasing experience unique.
