EPTA ARGENTINA AMONG THE PROTAGONISTS OF THE INNOVATIVE GOMEZ PARDO SHOPPING CENTRE

Epta Argentina has been chosen for the realisation of the Gomez Pardo shopping centre. The protagonists of the installation include the largest Epta CO2 transcritical system of South America and EptaConcept solutions designed in Argentina

The shopping centre, with 18,000 m2 of covered area, is unique for its construction features, sustainability and the services offered. The Gómez Pardo is nestled between the city of Yerba Buena and a nature reserve in the Yungas region and has been realised as “a green island" that acts as a refuge for native flora and fauna.

The two Eco2Large packs powered by transcritical CO2 contribute to guaranteeing the highest European standards for the protection of the environment and to increasing the energy efficiency of this Green Building. They comprise of 9 compressors each, for a total power of 432 KW and ensure energy savings of more than 20% compared to a traditional system, thanks to the integrated monitoring and control system. The packs were manufactured in the site of Limana in Italy and the works were executed by Epta Argentina with the technical support of European R&D

The innovation is expressed in the cutting-edge technology and in a shopping experience that is second to none. For this turnkey installation, Epta Argentina worked side by side with the Retailer and the designers and organised a tour with them in some of the most scenic stores of Europe realised by Epta. Inspired by the most recent European trends, the EptaConcept Team proposed furnishings, finishes and technical elements able to respond to the Argentinean taste and to the specific needs of the customer.

At the centre of the scene, in the serve over area, stand out the QUINQUELA refrigerated cabinets, personalised with fronts in wood and granite. Noteworthy is the butchery area, for example, where EptaConcept breaks up the space with different modules of the QUINQUELA refrigerated cabinets with details in wood, introducing for the first time in South America the semi-vertical fully glazed Torre, next to the traditional version and Rondelle. Furthermore, EptaConcept has also inserted ad hoc models to improve the display of the complementary products at ambient and hot temperature

Finally, the project boasts the presence of several of the most recent Costan models proposed on the European market, such as the GranBering vertical refrigerated cabinet for frozen products and the semi-vertical GranSesia of the GranFit range, as well as a special version of the Lion Eco refrigerated cabinet for fresh products with doors designed ad hoc. These models boast large frameless surfaces which, merged with carefully designed LED lighting, contribute to creating a feeling of visual comfort which accompanies the customer during his/her shopping experience.
