Costan is the name behind the refrigerated area of the new 2,000 m2 Conad superstore at Trezzo sull’Adda, in the province of Milan, which opened on 13 May 2015. The brand has always focused on the quality of its products and respect for the environment, and now it has confirmed the trust it places in Costan’s technologically advanced, eco-friendly solutions and their ability to create the most attractive food displays. The overall result is a positive effect on the consumer purchasing processes.

Costan’s RevUP Family, with its minimalist style and outstanding versatility, can be used to present all types of products: from Fresh to Frozen, from Delicatessen to Meat, displays are neat and in keeping with the brand’s Look & Feel.

The dazzling transparency of the vertical GranVista cabinet guarantees complete visibility for packaged Fresh products, further enhanced by LED lighting and the contrast created by the black frames on its all-glass doors. The Costan-branded technology guarantees reduced energy costs whilst slashing greenhouse gas emissions: the winning combination of Costan’s insulating materials and the care lavished on the aeraulic design of the cabinet make for savings in excess of € 400 a year, whilst cutting CO2 emissions by 1,237 kg.

Perfect accessibility and function are the premise for the Frozen foods area, which is equipped with negative temperature ElephantUP wall cabinets and Tortuga 2 horizontal freezers with lids. The merchandising has been updated, and they feature an improved opening system which is easier for customers and staff to use.

Care for the environment is also demonstarted by the decision to install a powerful system harnessing CO2 cascade technology. In particular, the built-in EptaClima system stands out. This makes it possible to recover the condensation heat generated by the plant to reduce the cost of heating the store. A complete system geared towards the utmost energy efficiency also safeguarded by the remote monitoring service, operative 24h 7/7, enabling prompt intervention to regulate the system’s parameters.

Lastly, in keeping with the latest market trends, Epta’s innovative Sushi Corner has been installed for displaying the much-loved Japanese food which is also winning over an increasing number of fans in Italy.
